Confirmed in Ubuntu 10.04 with recent updates, OpenOffice 3.2.0 (OOO320m12 (Build:9483)) and Gvim 7.2 (2008 Aug 9, compiled Apr 16 2010 12:40:58).
When pasting into OpenOffice, in addition to getting the "Requested clipboard format is not available" error, it appears to disable/break the "Paste Special" functionality. Shift+Ctrl+V and Edit > Paste Special are simply ignored. Prior to attempting the paste from gvim, Paste Special works fine. I believe that OpenOffice becomes unstable at this point, but cannot be certain. The workaround adding "html" to Vim's clipboard (cb) setting does work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/617841 Title: Gvim 7.2 paste into OpenOffice 3.2.0 fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vim/+bug/617841/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
