Confirmed in Ubuntu 10.04 with recent updates, OpenOffice 3.2.0
(OOO320m12 (Build:9483)) and Gvim 7.2 (2008 Aug 9, compiled Apr 16 2010
12:40:58).

When pasting into OpenOffice, in addition to getting the "Requested
clipboard format is not available" error, it appears to disable/break
the "Paste Special" functionality. Shift+Ctrl+V and Edit > Paste
Special are simply ignored. Prior to attempting the paste from gvim,
Paste Special works fine. I believe that OpenOffice becomes unstable at
this point, but cannot be certain. The workaround adding "html" to
Vim's clipboard (cb) setting does work.
