hi bigoperm, Does the installer give you an error message, or just hang there doing nothing?
If there's an error message, could you post it here? there's a log file for the installer in /var/log/installer/debug (or in /var/log/ if the install didn't complete). Let's see if these files give us a clue as to what's going on.
