I downloaded the "xubuntu-11.04-desktop-i386.iso" (dated 11-04-27) package for the third time, and finally got a file that matched with MD5 checking. This one installed properly to the end. Hence, it could be considered as [resolved] from my side (I changed bug tittle subsequently).
