Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: liferea

Trying to start Liferea yields a segmentation fault. No signal 11 or
anything like that. When run in a terminal it tries to start and then
ends with the following:

(liferea:13349): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_n_channels: assertion
`GDK_IS_PIXBUF (pixbuf)' failed
Segmentation fault

Tried running it with --debug-all and it spits out tons of messages
until it finally segfaults the exact same way.
