Thanks for your bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately more information is needed to process this properly. If you could please supply what version of Ubuntu you were using i.e (Kubuntu 7.04) and what methods you were using to adjust the volume, like function keys on the notebook or menus in gnome/kde. This information would be greatly appreciated.
