Hey, Is there any hint of what might be causing this problem? I've stripped my system bare, removing all plugins/addons/extensions from Firefox, uninstalling the msttcorefonts, and I've even switched to the nv driver rather than nVidia's proprietary one. But the problem still happens: Firefox crashes all the time, without anything obvious triggering the crashes!
The only non-conventional thing about my system is that I'm running Kubuntu. I know it's Ubuntu's neglected brother, but this bug strikes me as too obvious not to have been noticed.
