"I am having the same problem with the final release, at least on a Dell Latitude C610. I also have no floppy drive and get the I/O error - fd0. I am experiencing the issue with Kubuntu 7.04. Thought it originally to be a bad burn from ISO, but not the case..." **UPDATE*** I finally got Feisty installed on a Dell Latitude C610. After I got the fd0 errors, I noticed that I also got an sr0 error. (A quick Google search came up with optical media errors.) I knew the CD was good, so I swapped out the DVD/CDRW drive with a basic CD-Rom drive and the install went perfectly. Apparently there's an issue getting the combo drive to be recognized during install. All works well now!
