@Micah sorry for the upload of the debdiff on the old debian version, I was confused by https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/Merging:
The step7 is "Use debdiff to diff your new package against both the old Ubuntu package and the old Debian" but for sponsoring step it is"If you need sponsorship, you should generate two debdiffs: one between the Debian .dsc [...]" which caused me to add the wrong debdiff.
