linux-wlan-ng and linux-firmware-nonfree installed. When trying to connect to a network, I get the same error: [ 153.794015] wlan0: direct probe to (routers mac address) (try 1/3) [ 153.991634] wlan0: direct probe to (routers mac address) (try 2/3) [ 154.191641] wlan0: direct probe to (routers mac address) (try 3/3) [ 154.391609] wlan0: direct probe to (routers mac address) timed out Using the linux 2.6.39-1 mainline kernel fixed the problem, but I acctually would like to use the ubuntu stock kernel.
