I have multiple users myself, my wife and kids, when it happens to me and i ctrl-alt-f1 I can get in, I switch to graphic mode and then the login screen pops up, if I login as anyone else in the family I can get in but if i try to login as myself it either pops up the login screen again or blank screen with mouse movment
