Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

I don't know whose bug is it.

When I open gedit normally, I will get global menu for it. But when I
open it as admin (by 'sudo gedit' in terminal), global menu will not
appear and I get traditional menus.

This is not just for gedit. The same happens for transmission-gtk,
firefox, totem, ...
