Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
Some Flash Animations using the JW Player display white boxes in zones that are subject to updates or visibility changes (watermark, central play button, progress bar, lower left play/pause button). The video canvas itself renders correctly, but is blocked out by the white boxes in some places. The bug disappears when pausing the video. The videos at http://www.longtailvideo.com/adsolution/demos/ (by the JW Player creators) all exhibit the error, the one at http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/ does not, interestingly. Starting Firefox with --safe-mode does not help. The bug is not reproducible in Google Chrome.
