Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org-draw
It is not possible to print an A3 document on the bizhub C253 on A3 paper (the printer always switches to A4 paper instead). Even with editing the PPD file to only contain A3 as single possible pagesize, removing all paper trays except the one containing A3 paper etc. it doesn't work. The only effect this had was that no A4 paper is wasted, because the printer complains that there's A3 sized paper loaded in that tray. It works fine when creating a PDF file first and printing that one (using evince, the same maschine, the same driver …) I would be happy to provide more details if necessary.
