I don't think anymore that it's triggered by clicking (alone). I just opened Thunderbird and it was loading my mails and then while not clicking anything I was logged out (definitely long after clicking to open Thunderbird). Maybe we all think it's (only) triggered by clicking because when you surf on the Internet you do a lot of clicking. And when you are logged out what was the last thing you can remember doing? Clicking a link or something else. With a big maybe.
