Also, the default dictonary is kind of buggy. Like: some words only
exists in plural, some time contractions are not recognizable but the
word exists without it (and vice-versa).

This Brazilian version is used in BrOffice, which is being adopted as the 
default in schools and universities.
We want people to use OpenOffice in Ubuntu, instead of searching google or 
asking a friend to install BrOffice, which could conflict with the first (you 
uninstall or you stay with 2 OpenOffice, and none of them are a good 
alternative).

So, if Brazilian people could have a good dictionary bundle in Ubuntu`s
OpenOffice it would be great to both teams, and great for us to.
