Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: binutils

https://launchpadlibrarian.net/72358389/buildlog_ubuntu-oneiric-armel.dbus_1.4.8-3ubuntu4_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz
shows a seg in ld when building dbus on oneiric; I can recreate this with

binutils 2.21.51.20110421-6ubuntu1

and have a backtrace that shows:

Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
