I confirm that Guiodic solution (post #116) works and it's easy to apply. @UbuntuTeam: unless there is some Unity related concern requiring compiz 0.9.4, PLEASE consider reverting to compiz 0.8.6 in natty (as per Guiodic's workaround) as solution to this crippling bug which seems not so easy to fix and leave compiz 0.9.4 for oneiric ocelot or platonic penguin
