Same issue with a clean install of 11.04 on a Dell Inspiron 1521 except the wireless network card won't come on at all and the switch only returns the "can't emulate rawmode for keycode 240" error. I'm only able to use the wired port. The BIOS allows the switch to control a single or multiple communications device (Bluetooth, wifi or cellular) or none at all. None of the settings seem to have any effect on the state of the network card.
