Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
The Network manager forget the last setting. I have 1 ethernet card connected to a cable modem, but the program detect 2 items?! 1) Unknown (0x050e3) USB vendor Specific Interface (usb1) 2) ADMtek NC100 Network Everywhere Fast Ethernet 10/100 (eth0) The first one I really don't know what it is, but this one will be always selected when starting up Kubuntu/KDE. I always have the manual select the second ADMtek to get the internet working. So I have 2 Questions and 1 problem ;) 1&2) what is the USB vendor Specific interface (usb1)?? and how can I delete this device from the selection. 3) How can I configure Network-manager that this program default select the ASMtek device? (<--bug maybe?) Sorry for the bad English ;) dutch here :( ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- not remember last device selection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109187 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
