Thanks for your bug report, I would like you to do a couple more things
for me if you don't mind, so I can get more information about what may
be the problem.

1. Please open a terminal, and run the following command to get the current 
pulseaudio package version. Please post the version to this bug. The command is 
"apt-cache policy pulseaudio".
2. Please follow the instructions at the following URL, so I can have a look at 
a log of the desktop sound server: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log.
