you can always try KXStudio in a virtual machine... my point is not to deprecate anything or anyone, instead, I want to help them. the kxstudio code/fixes/patches are public available, and so as my new 'cadence' tools.
The PPAs (upgrade) is just to ease installation of new software. You could just install the PPAs without any KXStudio stuff on it. I'm closing this bug now. ** Changed in: kxstudio Status: In Progress => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/767214 Title: Package conflict: "ia32-libs 2.7ubuntu26.1" with "lib32jack0 6:1.9.7~dfsg-1+kxstudio1~lucid1" -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
