Binary package hint: cups
As the description says,
this printer no longer seems to work,
the printer uses the parallell port (lp0)
I have attached the output of several commands i tried,
after googling a bit,
some of the things i tried,
but failed in giving results
(chmod 666 of lp0 and parport0)
(adding the same printer again to cups)
(rebooting cups pc printer gave no results)
The settings are
parallel:/dev/lp0
HP DeskJet 710C Foomatic/pnm2ppa (recommended)
No special policies

since many people seem to have problems with this version of cups and possible
hplip and their printer
