Ditto. Running Kubuntu Feisty, both with and without Beryl, using native nVidia support (no AIGLX or xgl)
Sometimes after logging out, the Kubuntu shutdown progress bar appears momentarily, and then I'm left with a blank screen with a cursor top left. Keyboard input is echoed to the screen but that's it for functionality.
