As seems the problem is tied with Huawei E1750 USB Modem - UMTS (3G) Workaround is: 1) kill -9 of kdm4 (usually at different TTY beccouse is unpossible to open new window with terminal) 2) run kdm4 (I'm using krunner for it) 3) remove Modem from USB and reconnect
