The difficulty with this particular webcam is that while it can take individual pics perfectly (a la Cheese), the framerate is horrid.
I've tested it in 10.10 and now 11.04. I've tested it in Google Video Chat, Skype, and gstreamer-properties, and the framerate is equally bad in each. Any slight movement gives extreme blurring even when the video is local. If used for teleconference, it essentially becomes a slideshow. I'd be happy to provide any other information that might be needed, or test potential fixes.
