Hi, I have performed the upgrade to Feisty today and I think I have the same problem as above.
Also, I am not sure whether this is related (sorry), but I cannot see the options to change the CPU frequency scaling in the GUI dialog (see screenshot attached). In my BIOS I have the `stepping' option on: automatic (as opposed to disabled). Output from cat /proc/cpuinfo: processor : 0 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 13 model name : Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.86GHz stepping : 8 cpu MHz : 798.000 cache size : 2048 KB fdiv_bug : no hlt_bug : no f00f_bug : no coma_bug : no fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 2 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss tm pbe nx up est tm2 bogomips : 1598.11 clflush size : 64 ** Attachment added: "kde-guidancepm-bug.png" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7386002/kde-guidancepm-bug.png -- kde guidance does not display cpu frequency https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102345 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kde-guidance in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
