Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: me-tv

Me TV has found channel information and EPG. Loads and all works fine
but no sound. ALSA plug-in shows Me TV with control at 100%. Me TV
interface is not muted and also shows sound slider at 100%. Don't know
what else to do.

The TV card works with both sound and video through VLC player so I
think all sound codec etc. needed are loaded, and additionally the
kernel has loaded the correct TV card drivers.
