I have attached a screen capture. I suggest you to change the life installation CD and also the Wubi installation automatic video card configuration.
I am going to suggest you that he user should be able to choose manually the video card configuration, including the ubuntu classic installation without effects. I have to mention that the Wubi installation doesn't work, probably related with the same video card bug. After the installation, the only configuration that worked for me (login configuration) was the ubuntu classic without effects. I installed the FGLRX ATI/AMD driver (from ubuntu repositories). This FGLRX ATI/AMD driver has fixed the video card problems. ** Attachment added: "screen capture" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/778566/+attachment/2120496/+files/Pantallazo.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/778566 Title: Ubuntu 11.04.
