Please reopen this bug. There is a regression in xubuntu 11.04 If any popup menu is shown on the xfce panel, such as Places menu, or the context menu of the panel of any plugin, pressing PrintScreen or Alt+PrintScreen won't do anything.
If any application menu item is displayed, pressing PrintScreen or Alt+PrintSceen will first hide the menu and then make a screenshot of the application window.
