I have done everything mentioned above, still not working, however, it does seem that the problem come from desktopcouch, when going to file:///home/YOUR_USERNAME_HERE/.local/share/desktop-couch/couchdb.html, it says the service is not started, I have continued a bug here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/desktopcouch/+bug/674396
I have tried half a dozen time to remove, purge and all couch, reinstalled, still nothing, so frustrating.
