Latest update: I am now using kernel Ubuntu 2.6.35-25-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 21 17:40:44 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux and my uptime was at 9D 18Hours without a mouse pointer freeze.
Unfortunately, I lost a HD last night and had to shutdown to remove it(PATA Drive).
