Sitsofe: 1) uninstalling Envy won't solve the problem. Envy is just a PyGTK application which compiles the driver. On the contrary, uninstalling the nvidia-glx packages will solve the problem. Envy does not use the distinction between nvidia-glx and nvidia-glx-new.
2) Restricted Drivers Manager is a nice application but is limited to the version of the drivers available in Ubuntu's repositories. Envy provides you with the latest version of both the Nvidia and the ATI driver. -- Feisty upgrade error and crash (envy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/107915 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
