Addendum I downgraded my nvedia drivers because of another bug and ... many of the buttons in applications would not work but by resizing the window(thus putting the buttons in another area of the screen) they were clickable. And the cursor changed to default in parts of Firefox which prevented hiliting text. But when the screen was resized it was different parts of the text where untouchable.
