Public bug reported:

When I connect a USB disk, I just get it attached and get access. The
name of the icon for the disk in my desktop stays "disk" and not the
actual disk name which you can find in "Computer". For example, I have
Creative Zen Disk and when i connect this, in the desktop i get an icon
named "disk" and in "Computer" location(Places->Computer) i get
"Creative Zen Nano Plus:disk". Somehow the name gets stripped.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Confirmed

** Changed in: Ubuntu
       Status: Unconfirmed => Confirmed
