Modification of symptoms: It does in fact see and poll all RSS feeds. The behavior has changed though: it only shows an RSS feed in the feed pane if there is a new podcast in that RSS feed. This is changed from past behavior where it always showed all feeds. I think this is a bug because I cannot remove a podcast RSS feed using the gui if I can't see it. Note that rhythmbox does seem to function properly WRT to managing my ipod, but the gui has this one small issue.
