Public bug reported:

after upgrading to 11.04, my keyboard now defaults to the function-key
values and I have to hold down the function key to get the normal
letters. For example, I have a virtual keypad built into the keyboard,
so if I do not have the function key depressed, my keyboard types the
following:

`123456789/-= --the "/" should be "0"
qwerty456*[]\ --the "456*" should be "uiop"
asdfgh123-' --the "123-" part should be "jkl;"
zxcvbn0,.+ --the "0" should be "m", the "+" should be "/"

This only happens after I log in, entering my username and password work
fine, then this happens once the account appears.

I have an Acer Aspire 3810TZ-4880, dual-booting 11.04 and Vista Home Premium.
This does not happen on the vista side, on the login screen, or in grub before
I login.
After I login it happens everywhere I have tried to enter text, and my pinky is
getting very sore holding down the Fn key!
