Don't get me wrong, but I believe you need to post a new bug, since you are not using the same kernel in Natty (you could, but you would have to manually choose it in the Grub menu during the boot, if you haven't remove it yet). My Natty systems are running 2.6.38-8. Please, check again if you are running the 2.6.35 kernel with uname -r , or that your are really under Natty with lsb_release -dc
