Public bug reported: Belkin54g wireless card in Feisty Fawn 7.04 doesn't work. With Edgy 6.10 I had to blacklist bcm43xx and delete bcm43xx drive to install original belkin driver bcmwl5.in with ndiswrapper 1.8 tools. If i remove bcm43xx and if I install bcmwl5.inf the shell display this message:
driver installed, hardware present But if I type iwconfig I can't see eth1 and wireless disappear in network panel. this is what the shell displays: lo no wireless extensions. eth0 no wireless extensions. EXAMPLE: THIS IS THE OUTPUT OF A FRESH INSTALLATION OF FEISTY FAWN 7.04 (eth1 is present but wireless card doesn't work!)
