Binary package hint: compiz
Enabled 3d desktop effects in 7.04. Everything seems to work just fine
except one thing.
When I try to play a video file in mplayer I just get a black screen. I can
hear sound, but no video.
If I double click some times the video might appear for a short while.
I use the video drivers packaged with ubuntu, not the restricted ones, cause
the ATI drivers do not work with beryl or compiz.
That is a known ATI bug. The free drivers work a lot better with desktop
managers.
I have a HP Compaq nc 6000.
My graphics card is ATI Mobility radeon 9600.
Also hibernate do not work properly
Everything else is working perfect.
Best linux distro I have ever seen.
