I experience graphical distortion of this kind in Natty. (Live-CD as well as installed.): - With Metacity, graphics of gnome-panel is corrupted in the way seen in screenshots above. In console windows, font has graphicsl distortions. - When usind compiz, desktop is completely unusable: Windows appear and disappear right away, most of the desktop is invisible, only when dragging a window it can be seen, flickering, and disapperas as soon as movement stops. This looks like an openGL mapping failure.
