Hi there Natty (2.6.38-8-generic) doesn't boot on my wife's Toshiba Satellite A60 as well after the upgrade from Maverik. It doesn't boot from Natty's Live CD either. Same situation as the OP.
The error code is 0x67/0x6c acpi=off makes it boot but doing so there is no USB and PCMCIA connectivity.
