Binary package hint: nvidia-settings
I have this several messages bellow when I want to save my
configuration:
Failed to parse existing X config file '/etc/X11/xorg.conf'!
Unable to open X config file '/etc/X11/xorg.conf' for writing.
NVIDIA X server settings don’t save the X configuration. Each start of
Ubuntu 11.04 I lost my configuration. I need to save it manually in : «
/etc/X11/xorg.conf ». By advance, thanks to take this note and bring
your contribution to make Ubuntu Natty better. Nice work guy! I'm sure
it's must be an “hard work”! Congratulation for that.
