Thanks for the logs. Packages from ppa are holding back essential packages and prevents the upgrade. Amongst these packages are Xorg from xorg-edgers and kubuntu. banshee may also cause a problem.
Install ppa-purge and install the packages from the official archive until you're able to upgrade. I'm closing this report because it's not a bug with Ubuntu.
