I am seeing this as well on an HP Pavilion DV7. In addition to the duplicate line (which appears after I unplug the power cord), I always see "estimating..." instead of a time to charge or discharge (though this worked under Maverick, which I updated from). This behavior began when I updated from Maverick to Natty Beta 1.
Also, I have seen rare cases where the gnome-power-manager starts consuming about 80% cpu, and it only stops when I kill the process--but I have not seen a particular cause of this behavior, and I don't have any idea whether this is related. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/770380 Title: power meter panel icon shows duplicated information -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
