This request was a good one: I am currently working mainly with four files that contain too much private data so i cannot give them away and had this problem constantly even in old openoffice times.
When I tried to reproduce the problem with trivial files containing the words "Test 1" and "Test 2" the problem didn't occour, though. So i did a cat /dev/random|hd > test.txt converted the output of this command to the odt format - and have not been able to reproduce this problem either. But I found another hint what can cause it: The problem is not constantly there. It rather seems like something in files with a complex document structure may keep libreoffice for long enough that whoever talks to it runs into a timeout. At least pyconvert and unoconv do so on my netbook - where the low CPU power tends to make things like this more probable. Will try to find a reliable way of triggering the problem and will add another comment to this bug as soon as i can provide more solid information. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771565 Title: batch export feature sometimes unresponsive -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
