I can confirm this bug. I have the same graphics card, the corruptions
look a bit different… I'll attach two screenshots:

01 shows a permanent symptom only affecting context menus of the Gnome
panel - in my case the gnome clock applet, the indicator applet and the
applet used to switch between open windows using buttons (in german
called 'Fensterwähler'). I *don't* see those corruptions when I open the
context menus of the menu bar and the netspeed applet.

02 shows a symptom which appears after some time (an hour or more) and
tends to get worse i.e. one Gnome panel part after another is affected.

I haven't seen any of those both corruptions anywhere else than in the
gnome panel - neither on the desktop itself nor in Firefox, Evolution,
Banshee, Transmission, GIMP… Since I suppose (this time) only the Gnome
panel is affected I'd suggest to change the title of this bug to
'[RV250] Gnome panel corruptions'.

By the way: It doesn't help to chose a Gnome session without effects -
so there's no way to avoid this bug.
