Amazing that this bug was allowed to get into the RELEASE.

I just UPGRADED from 10.10 to 11.04 (server) and having the same
problems.

On a reboot the server stalls at grub menu asking for a menu choice.

THIS IS BAD ON SERVER ( because the server is remote and I can not press
ENTER... )

In other words the set timeout should not be -1 (set timeout=-1 )

but it is... my work around was to edit out the -1 (on a record fail)
and set it to 5 ( or whatever, just not -1 )

It appears grub was not properly updated (config file size) on an
UPGRADE.  Im sure a clean install is fine, but this is totally lame.
