Good evening Christopher 2011/4/28 Christopher M. Penalver <cp9...@albany.edu>: > Hirwen HARENDAL, thank you for working together with me on this bug. ** Yes, libreoffice solves the issue, using font TT family name (see capture-1 file), rather PS name or OT preferred family name (something like capture-2 file) as describes in the WPF font selection model PDF. But all styles selected work now. As I said, maybe interesting like this to switch a family to another... That not solves the problem of kerning (see capture-3 file), even if actived from the character panel. The font used is Minion-Pro. The kerning pairs are inserted in the kerning feature included in the GPOS table only. If the kerning works in the capture-2 file it's because a standard kerning table is made in addition of the kerning feature... This is the solution found to solves the issue with the same trouble for ADF's fonts and Ooo or LO. Not possible to convince your boss to use his Adobe fonts suite on writer rather than word with a trouble like this, I think. -- Hirwen HARENDAL ** Attachment added: "captures.zip" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/603622/+attachment/2093813/+files/captures.zip -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/603622 Title: Fonts styles selection can't be applied -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
