I added an update to this bug though, with what happened after: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/718928
It stopped putting white bars over the icons but then started putting them at the top of the dash itself. Running "compiz --replace" fixed those though. So whatever the issue is appears to affect multiple drivers in a similar way, putting white bars or boxes somewhere on the screen, but it varies on where it puts them. However, the fact that compiz --replace fixes it makes me wonder if it's something from compiz that's causing it or if it's something in unity. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/772053 Title: When mouse hovers over icons in dash a series of short, vertical white bars is overlaid at the top of the icon. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
