I cannot reproduce this on Debian Sid with gcc-4.6 4.6.0-5. The obvious "error" is here: g++: error: unrecognized option '-no_dead_strip_inits_and_terms' Until now gcc always just puke that the option is unrecognized and continued (this one is needed on OSX). Is this some default behaviour change in Ubuntu's package?
